She was predeceased by: her husband Frank L. Benson; and her daughter Trudy Lynn George. She is survived by: her children, Sissy Bossany (Ron) of Wisconsin and Frank George (Laura) of Loganville, GA; her grandchildren, John Bossany (Melinda), Susan Bossany (Steve), Sarah Sersch (Andy), Zachary George and Madison George; her great grandchildren, Brittney, Haley, Ashlea, Gavin Bossany, Deacon Andrew Sersch, Kathryn Cone, Joe and Courtney Schifani; and her great great grandchild Cullen Beau Schifani.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's & Youth Ministries at Loganville FUMC, 221 Main St, Loganville, GA 30052.
