He was predeceased by: his father Jackie Cleveland Sanders, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie L. Sanders; his mother Paula Rena Aultman; his children, Desirae (Dale Sinnemon), Haley (Jake Shaw), Whitney Sanders, Courtney and Jackson Sanders of Loganville; his siblings, James (Stephanie Sanders), Josh (Daphne Sanders), Greg Smith and Trina; his brother-in-law Doug Locke; his grandson Isaac Kersey; and his stepmother Marie Sanders.
