He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lynn Strickland; his daughter Kristin Styers (David); his grandson William of McDonough, GA; his sisters, Martha S. Barefoot of Chesapeake, VA, Mary S. Miller (Burnley) of Suffolk, VA and Elaine S. Moore of Davidson, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Cecelia W. Strickland of Gatesville, NC and Jack Scutchall of Hollister, CA.
