He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin W. Watkins and Nora Livingston Watkins; his children, Jessie Dwayne Watkins and Yalonda Watkins Walker; and his siblings, Marceline Davis, Lois Adams, Fontaine Lee and Donald Wayne Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy G. Green Watkins; his son Scott Watkins; his grandson Jesse Walker; his son-in-law Kevin; and his siblings, Odessa Odom, Irene Green, Irvin (Ann Watkins, Jr.) and Theo (Betty Watkins). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
