He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Diann Hart; his son Jeremy Hart; and his parents, Roy Leon and Inez Hart (Dutton). He is survived by: his daughter Cassie; his son-in-law Joshua Bowen of Loganville; his son Jason Hart of Loganville; his grandsons, Jason Hart, Jr., Logan Hart, Tyler Bowen Travis Bowen and Hunter Bowen; his sisters, Fay West of Monroe and Joann; his brother-in-law Wesley Scaffe of Conyers; his siblings, Patsy Hart of Covington and Michael; and his sister-in-law Denise Hart of Loganville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
