He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent John Hindsman Haines; his wife Mary Anne; his son John Edward Haines (Vickie); and his grandsons, James Phillip Haines, Alan Howard Haines and Robert William Haines. He was also cherished by eight grand-daughters, three great grand-daughters and five great-grand sons.
