He is survived by : his parents, John R. McMillan and Rita Rogers McMillan; his daughter Erica; his son-in-law Scott Adams; his granddaughters, Braylee and Addisyn Adams; his son Tyler McMillan; his sister Heather; his brother-in-law Sam Smith; his nieces, Piper and Brielle; his nephew Syler Smith; his stepchildren, Chase and Nicole Hunter; and also Christie McMillan. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moores Funeral Home (301 S Wayne St, Milledgeville, GA 31061). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Moores Funeral Home & Crematory (301 S Wayne St, Milledgeville, GA 31061).

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
