He is survived by: his wife Cathy Newton of Monroe; his mother Elizabeth Sutphen of Queensbury, NY; his children, David Newton (Nikki) of Magnolia, Adam Newton of Rockport, Alexis Phillips (Mathew) of Bury, Norfolk and Andrea Newton of Columbus; his stepchildren, Lindsay Tuthill (Frank Snyder) of Columbus Ohio and Dustin Tuthill of Columbus Ohio; his sisters, Kristine Peterson of Titusville, Kathryn Simpson (Robert) of Monroe, Georgia, Jennifer Novak (Mike) of Syracuse, Christine Newton (Steve Ginter) of Buffalo and Karen Magyar of Buffalo; his sister-in-law Leanna Newton of New Carlisle; his mother-in-law Joyce Mehrle of Columbus; his siblings-in-law, Sherri Bishop (Roger) of Bucyrus and Greg Mehrle of Columbus; his grandchildren, Dominique, Brianna, Abby Newton, Landon, Elizabeth Newton, Andreas Phillips, Malaysia Napier, Aubrey Snyder and Autumn Tuthill; and his pets, Newt Newton and Sophie.
