She is survived by: her daughter LaVerne; her son-in-law Darren Merck of Loganville, Georgia; her son Rickey; her daughter-in-law Stacy Vernon of Dallas, Texas; her siblings-in-law, Dr. Joe, Phyllis Vernon of Cleveland, Georgia and Marcus Castleberry of Alpharetta, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Adriana Merck of Lithia Springs, Samuel Vernon and Lola Vernon of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
