She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Baxter Williams and Maude Lorraine Mosley Williams; her brothers, Olen Baxton Williams, John Thomas Williams, Lewis Carlton Williams and Luther Alfred Williams; and her husband Luther A. Howard.

She is survived by : her sons, Martin Howard (Grace) and Greg Howard (Cathy); her grandchildren, Chelsea Howard and Zachary Howard (Jaime); and her great grandchildren, Nora and Parker Howard.
