He was predeceased by: his parents, Coile Eugene McCarty and Doris Ethel Needham McCarty. He is survived by: his sister Judy; his brother-in-law Larry Walker of Loganville; and his sibling's children, Joey (Lynda Walker), Duane (Alicia Walker), Karla Walker (Angie Whitney), Randy (Michelle Walker) and Dena (David Pauly).
