He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Schroeder and Irene Schroeder; his children, Erin and Austin; and his siblings, Scott Schroeder (Kim), Linda Kopulos (Lee) and Ruth Patrick (Larry). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
