She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Francis Trahan and Louise; her sister Laura Trahan; her husband Dr. Ahmed T. Abdelal; her sister Caroline Abbey (John) of Newnan; her son Anthony Shane Wilson of Loganville; her grandsons, Caleb Wilson, Jada Sutfin (Jeremy) and Blake McDaniel (Courtney); her stepdaughter Laila Abdelal McClay of Novato, CA; her grandson Max; her stepson Rawi Abdelal (Traci Battle) of Wellesley, MA; her grandchildren, Alexander and Annabel; and her siblings' children, Louise Priko McCall, Robert Priko and Sean Paul Aitken. She was also cherished by several grand nieces and nephews, numerous cousins.
