She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Emit" Cox; her great grandchild Ruthanne Camille Brooks; and her parents, Eva Gilleland Hewatt and Lloyd Hewatt. She is survived by: her children, Tony Cox of Monroe, GA and Pam; her son-in-law Rickey Brooks of Loganville, GA; her daughter Melanie Cox Grier of Monroe, GA; and her grandchildren, Jamie Cox, Jason, Rachel Brooks, Chris, Natalie Cox Fagan, Ryan, Mary Brooks, T. J., Emily Cox, Robert Cox, Amanda Grier, Holly Grier, Katie Cox, Hannah Grier and Jared Floyd.
