He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Carter Wofford; his parents, E. A. Wofford (Sam) and Aline Wofford; his sister Dorothy; and his brother-in-law Charles Oxford.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy, Mark Connard, Ryan and Adria Wofford; his grandchildren, Clint, Jordan Connard and Cody Connard; and his brother Robert L. Wofford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many friends.
