She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Gordon and Lassie Mae Adams; and her husband James Levi Childers, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Deana C. Helms of Smyrna and James G.; her daughter-in-law Marie Childers of Dacula; her grandchildren, Jeremy Childers, Katie Newton and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Grace, Luke, Adam and Graclyn; her brother Branson; and her sisters-in-law, Lynn Adams of Cornelia, Martha Adams of Clarkesville and LaMerle Edwards of Cleveland.
