With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Whiteside McCormack of Loganville, Georgia, born in Ashland, Mississippi, who passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent Herman McCormack of Loganville, GA; her mother I. H. Whiteside of Ashland, MS; her brother-in-law Marvin Hurdle; and her son-in-law Brian Fitzpatrick. She is survived by: her children, Vincent L. McCormack (Lynn), Shirley "Shan" McCormack Fitzpatrick of Loganville, Angela Marie McCormack of Athens and Steven Isaac McCormack (Christy); her grandchildren, Kyle Beckman (Audrey), Melissa Bristol (Mike), Kelly Fitzpatrick, Shannon Fitzpatrick, Cassidy Fitzpatrick, Aidan McCormack, Madeleine McCormack, Caleb McCormack, Ava McCormack and Catherine McCormack; her great grandchildren, Kylie Beckman and Leland Bristol; her sister Carole Hurdle; and her sons, Valley, Attention Bill McCormack and Ridgeland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that all attendees wear masks, to help ensure the safety of all who choose to celebrate Shirley's life in person.
