He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Callahan and Mattie Callahan; and his grandchildren, Amanda Callahan and Jeffery Callahan, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Callahan, Robin Callahan of Buford, GA, Cindy Cook, Angie Hubbard, Chris Delee, Karen Callahan, Flowery Branch and Edward Delee; and his sisters, Martha Laddig of Rome, GA, Barbara Neese, Beatrice Stewart and Bonnie Barrett. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brother.
