He was predeceased by : his parents, George Smith and Zettie Lee Burrows Smith; his wife Dorothy "Dot" Smith; and his siblings, Vernie Smith, Bessie Daniel, Clyde Smith, Russell Smith, Jimmy Smith, Johnie Smith and Robert Lee Smith.
He is survived by : his siblings, Patricia Johnson, Margaret Gravitt and Jerry Smith. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
