He was predeceased by: his parents, C. H. Cofer, Jr. and Juanita Davis Cofer; and his niece Allison Brock (Sunny). He is survived by: his siblings, John Cofer, Diane Cofer Barnes (David) of Louisville and Julie Cofer of Louisville; and his siblings' children, Tanya Cofer, Bonnie Sargent Wormsley, Kari Johnson, Jennifer Young and Chip Sargent.
