She was predeceased by : her parents, Sonnie Thompson and Nola Thompson; her spouse Charlie Gibbons; and her siblings, Susie, Cora, Lee, Marie, Willie Mae, Johnny, Garfield, Frank, Tommie, Ray and Wright Thompson Sr..
She is survived by : her children, Cassandra Gibbons and Charles Gibbons Sr.; her sister Elizabeth Kindall; her grandchildren, Latoya Gibbons and Charles Gibbons Jr.; her great grandchildren, Lassandra Dunkley and Azyiah Gibbons; her sister-in-law Mary France Thompson; and her niece Jennette Thompson (Harold). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
