With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ferd Herbert Meeks of Lula, Georgia, born in Homer, Georgia, who passed away on February 20, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Mellie Clyde and Maybelle Pritchett Meeks; and his grandsons, Josh and Zac Gardiner. He is survived by : his wife Betty Ruth Massey Meeks of Lula; his children, Sandra Rylee (Dave) of Maysville, Pat Gardiner (Alan Farmer) of Homer, Amy Nunn (Tim) of Commerce and Alan Meeks (Cindy) of Lula; and his grandchildren, Jill, Steven, Brandon, Caleb, Haiden, Holden and Hunter. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
