He was predeceased by : his parents, Garnett Staton and Dora Staton (Jackson); his sister Melvinia "Liz" Cole (Dan); his siblings-in-law, Rev. W. S. Morris and Martha; and his parents-in-law, Travis and Irene Morris.
He is survived by : his wife Cathy Staton (Morris); his nieces and nephews, Celita Allen (Pete) of Port St and Chip Allen; and his brother-in-law Branson Morris (Shirley) of Gillsville, GA.
