He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe C. Ruis and Meniza Grantham Ruis; his wife Geraldine Elizabeth Hooper Ruis; and his brothers, Jurrell (Joyce Ruis) and Buddy (Dale Ruis).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel (245 Central Ave, Demorest, GA 30535). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the Yonah Memorial Gardens (255 Central Ave, Demorest, GA 30535).
