He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Smith and Emily Molly Roland Smith; and his child Grace Winham Smith. He is survived by: his wife Grace Smith of Lumber City; his children, Butch Smith (Carol) of Metter, Walon Smith (Karen) of Warner Robins and Marybeth Cook (Keith) of Norcross; his grandchildren, Brooke Slappey (David) of Charleston, Bradley Smith of Charleston, Jessie Minnigan (Bradley) of Franklin, Julie Dearing (Andrew) of Warner Robins, Braxton Cook of Norcross and Thayer Cook of Norcross; his brother Clifford Smith of Mt; his great grandchildren, Finley Dearing of Warner Robins and Madeline Grace Slappey of Charleston; his stepson Bryant of Macon; and also Vernon.
