She was predeceased by : her husband Luther D. Ganey; her son Gary Ganey; her parents, Rell Gay and Sidney Vaughn Gay; and her brother J. C. Gay.

She is survived by : her daughter Connie Ganey Samples (Glynn); her grandchildren, Cole Samples (Katey) and Casey Samples Coley (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Cooper Coley of New Branch, Anneston Samples of New Branch, Case Samples of New Branch, Connor Coley of New Branch, Cash Coley of New Branch, Crue Coley of New Branch and Ridge Samples of New Branch.
