It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael King in Lyons, Georgia, born in Mount Vernon, Georgia, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Polly Beasley Nelms. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Strickland King; his daughters, Maddie Bridges of New Branch and Lily Bridges of New Branch; his father Andrew Nelms of Collins; his pet Bosley King; his brothers, Anthony Gibbs, Jon Pitts, James Faircloth and Jeremy Harvey; and his parents-in-law, Nancy and Rickey Corbitt of New Branch. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
