She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chapoy and Adela Chapoy; her husband Donald "Don" Brown Sr.; and her daughter Cheryl Hardin Calaman. She is survived by: her sons, Donald Brown Jr. of Macon and Leslie "Les" Brown of Atlanta; and her sister Chene Dominguez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
