She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Wilcoxon and Sara Wright Wilcoxon; her husband William Julius Penn, Jr.; her son John Penn; and her sisters, Margaret McBrearty and Elaine Snowden.
She is survived by: her children, William J. Penn, III of Juliette, Georgia, Walter David Penn (Virginia) of Atlanta, Georgia, Ronald Wright Penn of Macon, Georgia, Donald Turpin Penn (Donna) of Moore, Anne Hand (Steve) of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Virginia "Ginger" Penn of Perry, Georgia, Thomas Gerald Penn of Macon and James Honea Penn (Carol) of Fredericksburg, Texas; and her cousin Sara Paravis of Roberta, Georgia. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
