She was predeceased by: her daughter Huma Bhutta; her parents, Habibullah Jalaluddin Asar and Begum Khurshid Asar; and her siblings, Jamila Saleem, Tasneem Khokhar, Javed Mirza and Amjad Mirza.

She is survived by: her children, Tayyab Bhutta and Hina Saleem; her son-in-law Ubaid Saleem; her grandchildren, Zayaan Saleem and Zaynab Saleem; and her siblings, Tajammal Habib Mirza, Sajida Qureshi and Munaza Naeem.
