He was predeceased by: his parent Ballowe; and his brother Jack Auld. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Menzel Auld; his children, Katharine Auld, Megan Auld (Lindsay), Amanda Pickard (Jason), Emily Golden (William), Timothy Auld, Nathan Auld and Anna Auld; and his brother Fred Auld, Jr.. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
