He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Hamilton and Ruby White Hamilton; his wife Bettie Jois Fordham Hamilton; his son William Dale Hamilton; and his sister Ruby Jean Barney.
He is survived by: his daughter Dena Hamilton Carruth (Mark) of Roswell; his daughter-in-law Vickie Hamilton of Arnoldsville; his grandchildren, Bryant Hamilton (Sylvia), Shona Hamilton, Andrew Carruth (Kirby), Lauren Merritt (Conor) and Tina Hunter (Adam); and his siblings, Margaret Thornton (Ed) and James Roy Hamilton (Brenda). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
