He was predeceased by: his mother Sara Ray Hunnicutt; and his brother Dalton Hunnicutt. He is survived by: his wife Alice Hunnicutt; his children, Kristy Jones (Mike), Suzanne Bedingfield (Chris) and Billy Joe "Jay" Hunnicutt, Jr (Heather); his grandchildren, Tucker Bedingfield and Jaxson Hunnicutt; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Moore (Nina) and Martha Hunnicutt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
