He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owen Colvin and Lida Bell Hinson Colvin; his wife Virginia Pritchett Colvin; and his brothers, J. F. Colvin and William L. "Bill" Colvin.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Colvin of Byron and Nicole Colvin of Dublin; and his siblings, Trammell Davis (Monroe), Sammy Colvin and Terry Colvin.
