We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2018, at the age of 81, Carey Owen Pickard Jr. (Macon, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Lillian Pickard (McMichael) and Carey Pickard; his children, Carey (Christopher) and Elizabeth (Daniel); and his stepchildren, Anne, Virginia (Steve) and Bowden (Debbie). He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ocmulgee National Park and Preserve Initiative. ocmulgeepark.org.
