She is survived by: her children, Anita Metzger (Kevin) and Kevin Carter (Julie); her grandchildren, Robert Garey (Vanessa), Shannon Coy (Jeff) and Matthew Carter (Annemarie); her sister Evelyn Russell Carter; and her sister-in-law Jo Carter Steenbergen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
