Cathy Hanson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cathy Hanson of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on April 5, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Utley and Margaret Utley (McDaniel); and her sister Marlyn Trawick (Harry). She is survived by: her sibling Geonene Minshew; her daughters, Staci Dixon and Cassie Smith (Jon); her grandson Jacob Smith; and her cousin Hanson. She is also survived by friends and family, especially her grandson.
The family requests that all attendees wear masks.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations may be made in her memory to one of the organizations she regularly supported, including Forest Hills UMC, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Ronald McDonald House Charities Central Georgia, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and United Way of Central Georgia.
