He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Bernard Johnson and Ethel Mae Pender Johnson; and his brothers, J. B. Johnson, Jr. and Raymond Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Olivia June Johnson; his children, Donna Sutton (Billy) of Milledgeville, Mary Charles Gunnels (Charlie) of Macon, Amy Yaughn (Michael) of Byron and Sean Johnson (Tammy) of Lizella; and his siblings, Eugene Johnson of Lizella, Charlotte Moody of Macon and Ellen Haygood of Warner Robins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of his granddaughter Olivia Yaughn, JDRF.org.
