It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Prickett of Macon, Georgia, born in McRae, Georgia, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie "Nell" Mae Rawlins and Belvin Prickett; and his brother Ronald Brown of Fitzgerald, Georgia.. He is survived by: his spouse Miss Christine M. Thurston; his daughter Michele Overend of Athens, Georgia; his grandchildren, Wyatt and Malone Overend; his sons, Byron Prickett of Macon, Georgia, Max, Noah Prickett and Kevin Prickett of Valdosta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kalei and Carson Prickett (Emma); and his siblings, William "Will" Hamilton (Linda) of Hiram, Georgia, Pat Shrader (Bob) of Houston, Yvonne Weinstein (Ken) of Jacksonville and Tina Roper of Hilton Head. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
