He was predeceased by: his wife Marcia Barnes Wise; and his parents, Alfred Quillian Wise (A. Q.) and Katherine Ruth Tidwell Wise. He is survived by: his children, Charles Wayne Wise, Jr. (Shannon) of Athens, Chris Wise (Claudia) of Macon and Wendy Smith (Troy) of Milledgeville; his brother Alfred Paul Wise of Seneca, SC; his grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Braxton, Tyler, Gavin and Hayden; and his great grandchildren, Daisy, Ivory and Mary.
