He is survived by: his wife Mae Retha Young Sheffield; his daughters, Amy Sheffield Bowden (Draa) and Tina Taylor Ward (Craig); his siblings, Princess, John and Tim; and his grandchildren, Ferris Ward and Tyler Bowden.
