She was predeceased by: her mother-in-law Suzann Whitaker. She is survived by: her pets, Brady, Catfish and Allie; her husband Bobby Whitaker; her parents, Joel Peed and Rita Peed; her father-in-law Bruce Whitaker; her siblings-in-law, Julie Whitaker Summer (Chad) and Andy Whitaker (Irene); her aunts, Jane McCook and Elaine Everhardt; her cousins, Jennifer Knight, Suzanne Fralish (Kevin), Brandon (Kelly) and Brooke Everhardt; and her nieces and nephews, Andrew, William, Christopher Whitaker, Carabelle and Savannah Summer.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Claire's honor to Vineville Baptist Church.
