He is survived by: his sibling Willie Mae Thomas; his daughter Cheryl G. Thomas of Durham; his grandchildren, Dawn M. Thomas Nealy of Georgia, Zwelinjani Hale, Chyrise L. Holmes, Angelica M. Holmes, Pateryl C. Hargett and Clarence J. Hargett; his great grandchildren, Marqua Kelly of New Haven, Jayden Willis of New Haven, JaMario Charles of Durham, Jeshear Hargett of Durham, Brianna Wiggins, Imai Harrison and Riley Newland; and his stepsiblings, Johnnie Mae Cuyler, Julia Bess, Evelyn Thomas of Dublin, Cristine Duffie of Statesboro, Helen Dukes of Valdosta, Wille Thomas, Jr. of Pinellas Park, Jerry Thomas of Dublin, Robert Thomas of Dublin and Walter Thomas of Dublin, Georgia.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
