He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Dukes; and his stepfather L. M. Dukes Left. He is survived by: his son Reverend Lee Griffin; his wife Mickie Johnson Griffin; his children, Jody Griffin Carter (Terry) and Greg Griffin (Sara); his grandchildren, Whitney Carter, Zachery Carter, Mickensey Carter, Colby Griffin, Cason Griffin and Parker Griffin; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Chambers and Amelyah Carter.
