He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his son Douglas; his daughter-in-law Kerri Thompson of Macon, GA; his grandchildren, Ethan, Evan and Zoie; his brother Jesse (Donna Thompson) of Greenville, IL; his nieces and nephews, Michael and Maribeth; his sisters-in-law, Lee Hanchey and Carol Kloster; his children, Jason Hanchey, Andrea Pokrefke, Johnny Kloster IV and Amanda Campbell; his nephews, Jay and Jeff Thompson; and his niece Tina Niggel.
The family will hold a graveside service, observing social distancing, where David will be interred beside his beloved wife, Barbara, who died in 2005 in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond, VA, at 3:00 p. m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
