She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Zachary "Jack" and Eunice LaVerne Turner Cook. She is survived by: her husband Howard G. Simms; her son Howard Z. Simms (Dee); her grandchild Grace Simms of Zack Simms; her sister Mary Frances Causey; and her niece Judy Causey Grimes (Gary).
