She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stanford Smith and Willie Leggett Smith; her husband Charles W. Dye; and her niece Marion Smith Hills. She is survived by: her children, Dottie Nix (Steve) of St. Simons Island, Georgia and Charlie Dye, Jr. (Patti) of Macon; her grandchildren, Layton Smith of Thomasville, Georgia, Kathryn Dye of Atlanta, Charlie Dye, III of Fernandina Beach, Caroline Dye of Macon and Anna Claire Stietenroth of Macon; and her nieces, Betsy Smith of Grant and Cindy Warnick of Palm Bay, Florida..
