It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy G. Freeman (Macon, Georgia), born in Fairfax, South Carolina, who passed away on April 3, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Melvin Freeman; her parents, William Gleaton and Christine Fomby Gleaton; her stepdaughter Linda Freeman; and her sister Joan Gleaton.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Poss, Tonya Scales of Milledgeville and Petey Hall of Jacksonville; her stepdaughter Kathy Freeman of Milledgeville; her grandchildren, Casey Horne, Maranda Poss, Taylor Shostrand (David), Chasity Scales, Maura Baysmore, Michael Hall, Marcus Hall, Makayla Hall, Paris Hall, Josh Hazinakis, Nicole Fipps and Mason Fipps; her siblings, Barbara Ruth Lowe (Billy) of Macon and William Gleaton (Rhonda Gail) of Lizella; and her friend Deborah Harvey. She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren.
