Ethel Hails Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Hails of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on November 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Norman Winn Gayle and Ethel Salter Gayle of Montgomery, Alabama.; her former spouse Major Robert Emmet Hails; her husband Lt. Gen; her brother Norman Winn Gayle, Jr.; her daughter Laura Hails Smith; her sister Merrily Gayle Seawell of Auburn; her children, Robert Emmet Hails Jr. (Laura) of Melbourne, Merrily Gayle Joiner (Desmond) of Fairhope, Troy Hails Patton (Sam) of Macon and Georgia; and her grandchildren, Ansley, Brian, Robert, III, Amanda, Elizabeth, Scott, Catherine, Dominic, Mary Charles, Reese, India and Donovan. She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren and many cherished nieces and nephews.
