He was predeceased by: his parent Alma Brenda Maddux Coplin; his son Hugh Jackson Coplin; and his sisters, Elaine C. Buttler Greene and Angely Cheek. He is survived by: his parent Leonard Coplin; his wife Claudette J. Coplin; his sons, Niel J. Coplin and Ferris J. Coplin; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Hopper and Curt Douglas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
